Empowering Systems Advocates
The peer movement continues to evolve as youth peers amplify their voices across the nation. This training will overview systems advocacy and the significant roles that YPA’s have in systemic change. Throughout the training, participants will engage with tools and discussions pertaining to various levels of advocacy and engagement strategies along with benefits of engaging with peer networks. Some systems the Youth Power! peer network represents include: metal health, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, special education, and many more.
