Hornblower | NYC Ferry Reduced-Fares
Working with former councilman Jimmy Van Bramer three years ago, the NYC Ferry is now, finally, going to institute their own reduced-fare program for low-income, disabled and senior people. With the advent of Covid, and the recent audit of the EDC (the Economic Development Corporation) by Comptroller Brad Lander, the new mayoral administration of Eric Adams and management of the NYCEDC (Andrew Kimball - President) have come to a compromise to restructure the subsidies and financing of the NYC Ferry operated Hornblower. This is now fair and equitable for those who are unfortunate to be able to afford this fantastic system of transit.
