Heartbeat (Insane Demon) by AleeXhey | Geometry Dash
This is one of my favorite unrated levels in the game. I didn't upload it when I initially beat it, but I wanted this level to get more attention, so I rebeat it for the video. To me, this level shows a lot of creativity and passion for the game, despite many people seeing it as just a ripoff of KrmaL's levels "Heartbeat" and "Rearmed". I find that this level takes what made those levels special and puts its own spin on it. The song choice, which I think is very funny, is unlike many of the songs used in Geometry Dash, and it gives this level an even more unique feel.
It's no secret that I personally think that AleeXhey is one of the most underrated creators in the game, especially because I find this to be his weakest level. He went on to take what made this level special and improve on that for his future works. The reason I worked with Kreno to finish his level "Polygonal Paradox" is because I wanted to immortalize some of his best work on the servers, and bring more attention to his fantastic creations. Later on, Zeptrus and I worked together to finish his level "Death", a level that I consider a masterpiece in song representation. These are both released and rated, and I am very glad to have assisted in AleeXhey's creating career.
I find the gameplay in this level to be super unique and enjoyable, even if the beginning can be a struggle to play at times. It's probably a low end Insane Demon. I recommend beating this to anyone who enjoys KrmaL's levels, as this level gives a similar playing experience to those.
This level came out all the way back in 2016, and I really hope to see it finally get rated someday. Even if it hasn't aged amazingly, the craftsmanship is definitely above average for 2.0. Please go try it out if you haven't (As of 9/2 this is now rated!)
