Finished this song I started a few months ago. Quite happy with this newer direction and sound, and I plan to make more music in this vein.
For context on the lyrics, its essentially my thought process after reading into the various neurological illnesses that can paralyze you. It's pretty scary that our own body can create such a torturous existence and sometimes there is no reason behind it besides "bad luck"
After seeing someone firsthand with one of these, I couldn't imagine not wanting to get euthanized in such a position. Some of these are just downhill, there is no "it'll get better" so what can you even say to them? And yet some of these people somehow find a way to still want to live and be happy. So I wrote the lyrics with all this in mind, loosely trying to turn things around at the end with a more hopeful light that their acceptance can be inspiring or make you more grateful of the mundane moments. But its like a secondhand silver lining, the positive take away isn't even theirs to keep.
