Heavy Telecaster Shoegaze
Hello, here is my quick and very dirty playthrough of my WIP song "Defector"
i recorded this spontaneously at 2am and realized i forgot how to play the end of the song. So anyway, enjoy and accept the imperfections in this video and in your life!
The song has a heavier rhythmic guitar which is the focus of this play-through. Overall to achieve this beefiness, it a combination of 3 recordings of the same part into 3 different amp simulators then split between the left, center and right channel. Furthemore, the center track is also run through an octave pedal to pitch shift it down and make it even heavier and boomier.
I have some additional mixing tweaks to do on this song, as well as the need to write more vocals for certain parts, but I'm happy with it so far so figured i would share.
