"Plummet" by Vicolor (Insane Demon) (Bad Quality) [Geometry Dash]
I've wanted to beat this ever since Vicolor announced he was working on it. It uses one if my favorite songs in existence, and that's all it takes for me to want to beat a level, but on top of that I've also liked Vico's works in the past, so I just knew I had to beat this despite it being his hardest level by far. The main thing holding me back from beating it sooner was the fact that I had to play it on ULDM which removes the structure movements, considerably nerfing the level. Originally I was gonna wait for my new PC to come in and beat it on a higher detail on that, but that PC wasn't all that good so I had to send it back (TL;DR it ran well when the game window was tiny but couldn't run Stereo Madess at 60fps when on fullscreen). And then I just decided to level edit and remove the LDM checkbox for every move trigger in the level, making the structures move in ULDM.
About the level itself: I absolutely adore this level. I will admit that the moving structures that I was so bent on having to deal with made some parts a bit jank, and some parts were just jank anyways (I'm looking at you 21%), but the second half of the level at least was super consistent and enjoyable, which might honestly be why I fluked the level. I can see why someone wouldn't like this level, but I absolutely love it, and I'm glad I took the time to sit down and beat it.
PS: Playing the level at 0.5x speed in full detail to get screenshots for the thumbnail let me appreciate the deco a lot more, I love this level even more now.
