Today we’re testing Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, on the Ryzen 7 5700X and Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.
My complete PC specs:
-CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X (stock settings) with Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black RGB (w/2 fans, push-pull).
-Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.
-GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC and WHQL driver 555.85.
-RAM: Kingston Fury Renegade RGB 32 GB (2x16 Dual Rank each), CL16 DDR4@3600 MT/s.
-Storage: PNY XLR8 CS3030 1TB NVMe (O.S.), Samsung 750 EVO 500 GB.
-Case: Fractal Design Meshify S2 (Intake: 2x140 Front, 1x120 Lower Front - Exhaust: 1x140 Rear, 1x120 Top/VRM Area).
-PSU: Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold.
-O.S: Windows 10 Pro 64bit (v.22H2).
-Monitor: AOC AGON AG251FG 1080p-240Hz.
-ReBAR ON (BIOS, etc.) and the game supports it via driver profile.
-HAGS ON.
-DSR uses 33% Smoothing

Hellblade II is yet another current generation Unreal Engine 5 game, and we can indeed see all of UE 5’s features in action, for this game, such as Nanite, Virtual Shadow Maps, Lumen for the Ray Tracing, and so on.
This also makes Hellblade II a very GPU intensive game, despite not being an Open World game or anything like that, it’s pretty linear, the demands on the GPU especially are pretty high, but the game does look the part, at least.
The PC port itself is decent, nothing extremely fancy, controls are quite similar to the first game, all customizable, and they haven’t included FSR 3 Frame Generation, yet, but I believe they said it is planned at some point, too bad it’s not here for the game’s release, because it would’ve been useful, for sure.
This is a pretty straightforward game to test, albeit quite boring since there’s a ton of walking around and not that much combat.
I’ve also found some visual inconsistencies amongst the various upscalers, but nothing to worry much about, really.
All in all, the port is capable enough, for what the game has to offer.
