Ghost of Tsushima on the PC is a very well performing and competent port of this great title, no doubt, as we can instantly see by getting into the action and move around the world, the game performs quite nicely on my hardware, for sure.

There are some small annoyances when it comes to Keybinds, but nothing game breaking or that I cannot adapt to, and I did, because this game plays exceptionally well with Mouse and Keyboard, it does feel very natural and responsive.

The most amazing thing in this port of Tsushima, is the ability to combine any of the Frame Generation techniques, such as FSR 3 Frame Generation, along with any of the available Upscalers like, for example, we can combine FSR 3 Frame Generation with DLSS for upscaling, and that is absolutely amazing, because one of the weaknesses in FSR 3 Frame Generation has been its lack of temporal stability, due to FSR upscaling not being as good so far, so basically DLSS fixes this and gives us a cleaner image, almost quite difficult to distinguish to regular, non-Frame Generated rendering, honestly, and with all the action in the combat and stuff, it’s hard to ignore the much higher frame-rates that Frame Generation produces.

With a minor recurring issue with the HBAO+ Ambient Occlusion implementation, which seems to happen in many of Nixxes’ ports, the rest of the game feels quite polished, for this PC port.

There are instances where FSR 3 Frame Generation may cause the game to crash, but not every user experiences this, I assume a patch will be on its way as we speak.

All in all, it is a decent port, mostly hassle free on launch, honestly.

As usual, I hope this can be useful to any of you, and I’ll see you in the next one : )
