It was originally developed in 2003 as a continuation of the Red Hat Linux project.
Install: 5 Uses Anaconda installer.
Anaconda works well but causes a lot of confusion for some reason. More than a click click name and password, done is required.
Likes:
Very stable. System stays up to date with the dnfdragora-updater. Has never suffered a system crash. Software readily available through terminal or dnfdragora. COPR is also a package delivery system.
Many editions available from 'games' to 'science'.
Flatpak easy installable.
Dislikes:
dnfdragora-updater stays running in sys tray. Only started staying there about halfway through the 38 to 39 upgrade.
The upgrade process works but is always scary. So far I've had no issues with an upgrade.
