Welcome to Part 3 of the PlayStation 3 Exclusives Montage 2010 Edition. So, you like the games you've seen so far, but have heard some scary things about the PlayStation 3.
You have probably been told that the PS3 is "Hard to develop games on, so developers don't want to touch the PS3". Or you might have heard some people say, "The PS3 is a sinking ship". Well, this is certainly not the case anymore. In fact, developers are now heading to the PS3 to make their games, knowing that it's not that hard now that they are used to it, and it has more potential for them than any other console. Mafia II - 2K Games is coming out with Mafia II soon on PS3 and 360, but the PlayStation 3 version gets Exclusive DLC the day it comes out, and it's free to those who purchase the PlayStation 3 version of the game! This is a great example of how things have changed from the not-so-distant past.
Assassins Creed Brotherhood - UbiSoft has also been showing the PlayStation 3 some love. This time around they made an Exclusive package of missions for the PS3. Also, this Assassins Creed will feature an online mode for the first time. And the online multiplayer beta will be Exclusively on the PlayStation Network as well. So if you want to try out the beta of Assassins Creed Brotherhood, you know where you can find it. Only on PlayStation 3.
Medal of Honor - To show even more love toward the PlayStation 3, EA stood on the stage, and made their announcement. The new Medal of Honor coming soon, will have a Limited Edition version Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 (thanks to Blu-Ray capacity). It will contain the new Medal of Honor, and Medal of Honor Frontline in newly remastered 1080p High Definition with Trophy support!
Dead Space 2 - The thrills didn't stop there. EA then decided to show even more love, by announcing a special Limited Edition version of Dead Space 2, that comes with Dead Space Extraction in full 1080p High Definition with Move support and Trophies!
Following the EA announcement, there is a small video that shows some of the games that are being made in 3D. Yes that's right. True, native 3D gaming, and developers are taking advantage of it already, designing games that are built from the ground up utilizing this new native 3D technology. PlayStation 3 was designed for the future.
Motorstorm Apocalypse - Another sequel in the incredible Motorstorm series takes us to LA, and other heavily populated areas, and as we race something new occurs. The tracks collapse, and buildings crumble all around you as the course terrain changes, giving earthquakes and opening fire pits! Can you survive the newest Motorstorm?
Alelier Rorona - Shown in the 2009 Montage video as the Japanese version, this time around makes its debut as the US version has been announced! Coming Summer 2010!
Little Big Planet 2 - The super hot looking sequel, from one of the neatest damn games made in 2008. This game is looking to be incredible! You no longer have to stick to the rules of making only side view scrolling games. Now you can make any type of game you want! Side or Top view shooters, strategy, and many other types of games can be made in LBP2. This game is sure to sell millions of copys, and comes out winter 2010.
Gran Turismo 5 - The long wait is finally over. The greatest racing franchise, Polyphony Digital, is back and better than ever! Gran Turismo 5 contains over 950 cars from all over the world, and some of the most detailed graphics of any racing game. Now contains real car crash physics, and also new to the series, Nascar and night races! Coming November 2nd 2010.
These great games are just another example of why people are buying PS3s everywhere. And it also shows the momentum PS3 is picking up. I'm sure after you, and your friends all own a PS3, you will see and understand, why there are over 150 Million PlayStation 2 owners, and why there is already 50 Million PlayStation Network subscribers. With the PlayStation 3, you can have experiences that no other console can provide.
