FLASH CHILL RECIPE
What You'll Need:
--- Pour Over Brewer (Kalita, V60)
--- 30g coffee, ground medium-fine (finer than your usual pour over)
--- 300mL water, 205 degrees F or higher
--- 150g ice
Directions:
--- Place 150g ice in decanter
--- Brew coffee like usual into decanter directly over the ice, using a 30-45 second bloom with 60mL water
--- Pour in your remaining water up to 300mL (1 to 10 coffee to water ratio)
--- If your grind is right, total brew time should be around 2 minutes 30 seconds to 2 minutes 45 seconds. Shorter is better for darker roasts, longer is better for lighter roasts.
Recipe notes: Keep in mind that you are using less water to extract the coffee, so you will need a finer grind than a usual pour over. Add more ice into your final glass to make an extra refreshing beverage.
