One of Leipzig's unique features is a network of 30 arcades, labyrinthe passageways and courtyards in the pedestrianised, historic inner city.
The arcades are great for a family game of hide and seek, and are full of hidden treasures, shops, cafes, bars, boutiques, even cabaret and theatre venues. Each is unique, with its own secrets to reveal. Many have been lovingly refurbished and restored to their former glory, and all are celebrated at the annual Passagenfest. They are a great reminder of Leipzig's long and unique history as a city of trade. And there's some good shopping too!
We spent a day exploring, getting lost and found in Madler Passage, Steibs Hof, Specks Hof, Bartels Hof, Strohsack Passage and more to bring you this taste of the fun that awaits you in this part of #HiddenLeipzig
