DUBAI (UAE): LAUNCH OF GLOBAL COOLING PLEDGE
The COP28 Global Cooling Pledge has been launched in Dubai, to increase access to cooling and further reduce emissions. 63 countries have already endorsed the pledge, seen as a massive achievement and therefore, the United Nations Environment Programme, UNEP, is urging countries to get the pledge to work to protect humans, ensure food chains and vaccines remain stable and cool as well as productive economies.
