Montana de Oro, Los Osos, California - In The Field
Nature conspired against me on my visit to Montana de Oro state park in Los Osos, California. The sky remained gray, the fog held fast, and the tides were lackluster and dull. What’s a photographer to do? Pivot. I took advantage of the fog where I could, sought out smaller subject studies, and turned to long exposures to build mood in the frame.
I definitely want to return to this area of the California coast in the future. The potential for stunning photos in Montana de Oro is clear.
