This is the last video in the ON1 blending mode mini-series. This set of videos has talked about many of the blending modes, though not all of them. You might be asking … what about Multiply? Or Screen? Or Color Burn? Are those blending modes less useful? These modes have their place, though I don’t use them as often (if at all) in my photography.
Some of these blending modes may be great for texture blends - yet it all depends on the your photo and the texture you’re using. Hovering over the blending modes auditions them, so you can make a visual judgment. Remember you can temper strong looks with opacity and masking.
