The IonOptix MEMS force probe is the next generation force sensor for our optical fiber interferometry-based force transducer designed to detect the nanoscopic forces from single isolated cardiac cells. The implementation of a high performance optical fiber reduces the size of the device, extending the experimental area while protecting the fiber.
