Car speed behaviour and MATLAB app
Lectures aimed at engineering undergraduates. Presentation focuses on understanding key prinicples, processes and problem solving rather than mathematical rigour.
Cars are ubiquitous in society so it is important to understand their behaviour. This video, focussed at introductory level, encourages students to think about their expectations of behaviour and how parameter changes will impact on that behaviour. Analysis is then provided by some simulation animations (matlab code available) to check expectations followed by some mathematical analysis.
