DC servos and motors are a common system and thus engineers should have some understanding of their behaviours and how parameter changes impact on those behaviours. These apps allow the user to explore the basic issues and simple feedback design to achieve both position and velocity control. The inverted pendulum app also covers the important practical issue of delay and lag in decision making.
