It has been approximately three years since I released a Sonic Advance-related cover, barring the improved Panic Puppet Act 2 arrangement from 2023. As a warmup activity, I modified the existing Emerald Hill 2-player arrangement (conceivably by Tatsuyuki Maeda) to closely resemble the original Genesis version. For instance, I implemented the missing call-and-response portions and increased the tempo. As a consequence of my undertaking, my once rusty skills with the Sonic Advance style have been reinvigorated.
