Moving big beams, A Timber Framers ballache
Moving large reclaimed chestnut beams. I was kindly offered some beams from my friends, the only downside was I had to remove them through their house.
Each beam is 340mm x 170mm x 2.2m and weighs approx 130kg, my trolley is invaluable in a job like this.
Trolley is made of two bike wheels fixed to a 4" x 2" frame, frame notched around wheels axles, builders band screwed over axles to keep in place.
