The Humble Administrator's Garden, located in the northeast corner of Suzhou city, is still the largest classical garden in existence in Suzhou as of 2014, covering an area of 78 mu (about 5.2 hectares). The entire garden is centered on water, with lingering mountains and water, exquisite halls and pavilions, and exuberant flowers and trees, and has a strong Jiangnan waterfront character.
