Klavdiya Ivanovna Khabarova (1927 - 2014, 86 years old) was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. She studied on one of the most prestigious courses at VGIK, along with Vyacheslav Tikhonov, Sergei Gurzo, Nonna Mordyukova, Tamara Nosova, Ekaterina Savinova, and others. She was assigned to the staff of the Mosfilm studio and the Film Actor's Studio Theatre, where she worked until 1983. She starred in the films "Pages of Life," "Kuban Cossacks," "World Champion," "Cruelty," "The Flying Ship," "Lost," "Shadows Disappear at Noon," "Vanyushin's Children," "Eternal Call," and others. Beginning in 1997, she performed in concerts for a time, performing romances, lyrical songs, and folk songs. Since 2005, she has collaborated with composer Alexei Karelin, performing his songs in the project "New Folk Songs of Alexei Karelin Performed by Klavdiya Khabarova." The actress died after a long, serious illness. Her ashes are buried in the grave of her husband, actor Pavel Shpringfeld, at Vagankovskoye Cemetery in Moscow.
