Phoenix Cornwall Harmony Chorus - How We Sang Today (CD, 2005)
HOW WE SANG TODAY
December 1999 marked the begining of a new era for Phoenix. The story began when a group of 4 ladies with their director got together to form a new group, and that is when Phoenix Cornwall Harmony Chorus was born!
An advert appeared inviting ladies to a musical evening. Thus, 15 more ladies began learning the art of Barbershop singing from their director Madge Moyse who is also a professional singing teacher /vocal coach.
Today there are 25 in the chorus performing all over Cornwall doing concerts and charity shows. Phoenix is in great demand and have achieved many accolades during their few years of entering contests etc.
They are going from strength to strength.
