Lawmakers Day 16 02/09/23
On Day 16, four transportation bills were approved in the house, including new rules for driving by stationary emergency vehicles and allowing limited driving permits to drivers with suspended licenses. In the Senate, SB 3, the “Reduce Barriers to State Employment Act,” was passed to help fill vacant state government jobs. Also, today, the gold dome’s first Hispanic legislative caucus was formed.
