"This video is a reversed Big Bang in a way. I wanted to represent the immense and quiet power of matter, what was before and what will be after no matter what happens to Earth. I also wanted to highlight a parallel between (geological) extraction and imperialism. It includes glacier sounds, distant stars signals and some shots and sounds from the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, which I experienced first hand while i was on tour in Japan." Joakim
