This is my 3D printed glider running a 950kV motor and 40amp esc C/W 9g micro servos.
Today I wanted to see how it behaved with a 1.55mah 6S battery so we did.
The 1st battery is shown on the headcam footage while the 2nd battery is shown via the on board footage.
I get great fuel economy with this rig... the OB footage is the whole battery no editing cuts... and it was half to 3/4 throttle for 99% of the flight and it ended up at 3.7s per cell at the end.
I did manage to break the fuse on the last battery so I dont know if that was from overstressing it or on one of those nice smoooooth landings.
Thinking of making this a long ranger and fitting FPV gear to it and pottering around a minthrottle to get a few Kms out of her.... I think shes built for that rather than this flat stick, full Gs turns etc... maybe its done its hardest work and its time to retire/rest it ... we will see. I love flying it and she handles like a dream.
