Wheels Down
Not a great day out today....I first lost the whole wheel assembly off the Mehari as it was held on with standard nuts not locktited on.
2nd flight was the Edge V3 and this has never missed a beat but today the locking collar holding on one of the wheels decided to come off.
The Mehari broke the landing gear out on a previous repair so thats easily fixable.
The edge bent the landing gear and as I had an aluminium backing strip installed it didnt break the carbon fibre section so thats reusable.
Both wheels were recovered thanks to Pete and Rob...... now its time to reconsider ways to hold on landing wheels so this never happens again on any of my planes...
