After a long time here's filming my latest timelapse, Norrsken 4K!
Norrske in Swedish means Aurora Borealis and I chose this name for two reasons: the first is that this timelapse is entirely dedicated to the Northern Lights, the second is that it was shot entirely in Swedish Lapland, combining the two things the name Norrsken mi it seemed the most appropriate!
It took me a long time to release this video but the work behind it was truly impressive: shooting by car and not by snowmobile, I always had to use commercial spots where I could take my photos, so every clip was full of annoying human elements that disturbed the scene, and removing them required a lot of time, a painstaking job that forced me to edit almost every single photo, and in total there are more than twelve thousand photos!
Norrsken 4K sees for the first time the use of the Sony A7RV that I had been given on trial for the skies of Swedish Lapland and also Insta360 1-Inch 360 Edition which allowed me to experiment and create beautiful 360-degree timelapses, this was something I had never experienced before and I have to say I enjoyed it!

Dopo tantissimo tempo ecco filmente il mio ultimo timelapse, Norrsken 4K!
Norrske in svedese significa proprio Aurora boreale e ho scelto questo nome per due motivi: il primo è che questo timelapse è dedicato interamente all'aurora boreale, il secondo è che è stato girato interamente nella Lapponia svedese, unendo le due cose il nome Norrsken mi sembrava il più appropriato!
Ci ho messo tanto a far uscire questo video ma il lavoro che c'è stato dietro è stato veramente imponente: girando in macchina e non in motoslitta, ho dovuto sempre usare spot abbastanza commerciali da dove scattare le mie foto, quindi ogni clip era piena di fastidiosissimi elementi umani che disturbavano la scena, e toglierli ha richiesto tantissimo tempo, un lavoro certosino che mi ha costretto a editare quasi ogni singola foto, e in totale sono più di dodicimila foto!
Norrsken 4K vede per la prima volta l'utilizzo della Sony A7RV che mi era stata concessa in prova proprio per i cieli della Lapponia svedese e anche ella Insta360 1-Inch 360 Edition che mi ha permesso di sperimentare e realizzare dei timelapse a 360 gradi bellissimi, questa era una cosa che non avevo mai sperimentato prima e devo dire che mi sono divertito!
