Quality Management hub Introduction
Dear ProMISe users and followers,
This film is a short introduction to the ProMISe module: QMhub
QMhub is short for Quality Management hub.
First, some background information and how this module came to being...
Over the many years we worked for, and investigated, a lot of companies on how to improve their operational excellence level.
In order to get familiar with a new company, we often use the Quality Manual that describes the Quality Management System, or QMS, that in turn describes, among others, the operational procedures.
Only to find that the QMS and operation in reality have very less, if nothing, in common.
We often encounter situations where the QMS in itself is a mess of fully outdated documents with lots of working copies, where it is unclear which copy is the actual valuable document.
In the far majority of cases even the QMS index turned to be outdated, inconsistent and non coherent with other fundamental quality Information like a HACCP document.
Repeatedly stumbling upon this unorganized pile of contra-dictionary information, and to enable ourselves to get into the daily hassles of operation, we build and report our own version of procedural information for that company.
In doing so we also recognize dat just maintaining the Quality Management System takes a huge effort and often turns out to be a Sisyphus task, leading to frustrated Quality Managers and Surveyors.
Given the fact that companies that use ProMISe over all those years always secured a fast and easy approval by Quality surveyors, no matter L&R, BV, FDA, ISO, BRC or IFS, it got us thinking: What if we could apply the same fundamentals to a Quality Information System to help our customers make life easy.
So we set ourselves the task to combine easy process mapping and graphic information, with certification, knowledge management and Standard Operating Procedures.
In that, QMhub is truly a Quality Management Information hub where several disciplines come together.
For Quality Managers, QMhub takes care of all the hassles of keeping your QMS content- and time consistent and fully transparant for easy certification. Leaving you time to focus on the content in stead of the Quality Management System itself.
For all staff, QMhub functions as your in-company wikipedia where all knowledge is stored and on-demand available.
For production it means that enforcing operation to work according Standard Operating Procedures becomes a graspable reality, instead of just a vision at far distance...
QMhub is already being used in global manufacturing and corporate businesses. At the moment of making this video it's being introduced into health care and education and first reactions in those fields are, to say the least: enthusiastic.
