Potential energy and energy conservation
Potential energy depends on mainly two things i.e. mass and height. Whenever an object pulls up against the gravity of earth then there is work done by the external force. If any object pulls up very slowly then applied force is almost equal to mg force. This force is cause of the displacement of the body and the work done by this force will he ‘mgh’ which will be stored as potential energy in object at height ‘h’. When this body comes down P.E changes to K.E. The candle balanced from middle burned out both side then after sometime it acts like see-saw.
