Khnum the Creator of man from clay | Egyptian Gods and Goddesses
In Egyptian mythology and religion, Khnum was the god who molded the Great Cosmic egg from which the sun and everything that exists came forth. Then Khnum went back to his potter’s wheel and molded the human beings out of clay.
The idea of mankind being created from clay, was so deep-rooted in human mind that most world cultures, mythologies, and religions all over the world told the same story with some modifications.
