Strength of Forces Chemistry Experiment
This video shows a chemistry experiment which tests solubility, conductivity of solutions, and melting point to determine if compounds have ionic or covalent bonds. Students also use observational data collected during the experiment to form conclusions about the strength of forces that hold together these compounds including: covalent bonds, ionic bonds and intermolecular forces.
