Density of Water [AP Bio Lab 1.1]
Hey bio friends! I created this tutorial video showing a lab conducted to collect data to experimentally determine the density of water. The lab also serves as an introduction to using a micropipette.
In the lab, students use micropipettes to transfer water into a test tube in 200 μL (0.200 mL) increments. The mass of the water is measured after each transfer. A graduated test tube is also created in the lab that can be used for later experiments to quantify amounts of gas produced in biological reactions.
