Follow along as I build a Flow and Return Temperature (F.A.R.T.) sensor for my boiler using the ESPHome platform and two thermistor clamps. I add the sensor into Home Assistant where I can track and monitor my boiler's flow and return temperatures. Useful if you want to understand your boiler's behaviour!
My ESPHome yaml file is available on Github

I've started work on a new version of this sensor, which uses Zigbee instead of WiFi. I've written up a post detailing the process - http://tomasmcguinness.com/2024/12/09...

Video Notes:
Clip Champ gave me some headaches this time around. One of my screen recordings had no audio!! I had to do it all again :( Really starting to get annoyed at the varying volume levels across the different segments, so I will be spending some time investigating how to better manage that.
