2024 Statewide Community Service Award for Newer Attorneys | Caitlyn Johnson
The Ohio State Bar Foundation is pleased to have honored Caitlyn Johnson, a Senior Assistant Attorney General at Ohio Attorney General's Office with the 2024 Statewide Community Service Award for Newer Attorneys on October 25 at the All Rise Annual Awards Celebration.
Caitlyn Johnson joined the Health & Human Services Section in 2022, where she represents the Ohio Department of Medicaid and the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services in administrative hearings and litigation in both state and federal courts. Since joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office in 2011, Johnson has gained extensive experience across several sections, including Criminal Justice, Health Care Fraud, and Constitutional Offices. She has defended various state agencies and statewide officeholders in court and has prosecuted Medicaid-provider fraud cases. Johnson is also admitted to practice in several courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University and earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
