In this example Ryu crouches on his first wake-up and uses grab in his second. Oil Dive will snuff out Ryu's crouching, standing, jumping and backdashing.
What this setup does different from 2.0 is that U1 is used after a M. Oil Dive Fake Whiff and it stuffs everything except invincible moves, jump and backdash.
This setup can be used to scare the uninitiated into thinking they will get a good punish, it also features slight variation such as the backdash to keep them guessing, several other setups can be made from the backdash such as safe meaty Oil Slides.
This setup also has some replay-value since you can simply do a double fake-out letting them think you are about to do the same thing twice then simply block (since it is a safe-setup) or if you have U2/Double you can also catch their reverals, jumps and backdashes making this setup a true 50/50.
