Maker Faire Bay Area Retrospective - Part Two - 2012-2014
More archival footage from Maker Faire Bay Area, this time from 2012 and 2014. This is the second of three parts.
The video is divided into three segments. The first includes the Coke Zero & Mentos Stage, Acme Muffineering Cupcakes, Kinetic Steam Works, and El Pulpo Mechanico.
The second features the Dark Room with the Astro Botanicals Space Garden, Arc Attack, Shark Attack, Cat of a Different Color, and Jack SparX.
The third includes Sonoma Tintype, Rodwin Pabello’s Predicta PCs (computers inside old Philco TVs), plus lots of robots and 3D printers.
Apologies to any artists we didn't mention. Our notes from these events are long gone.
These videos barely scratch the surface of what you could see at Maker Faire. We were mostly shooting photos while covering the event for a graphic design magazine. It would be a few more years before we got the idea to launch a steampunk publication.
