HEAVY CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 CIVIL WAR SPOILERS!
ok so can we talk about Tony Stark a little ? CAN I TALK ABOUT TONY STARK A LITTLE BECAUSE I'M GONNA.
I saw CACW 3 times now and I'm still not over any of it. It is certainly my 3rd favourite Marvel Movie and I literally just can't with how perfect everything is aND HOW MUCH TONY IS SUFFERING HOLY SHIT GIVE THE GUY A BREAK. ok no seriously I shall begin with my Video Analysis and Tony Stark Hymn now.
The Song is 'True Colors' by Kesha (by the way Kesha won her law suit and she's a free elf now and I couldn't be happier, you go girl now make all the great music I can't wait!)
And the song fits Tony on multiple levels. From what I have experienced after 7 years in the Marvel Fandom is that everyone's feelings towards Tony have shifted immensely over the last few years / movies. His Character has, too so it makes sense but I feel people dislike him for the wrong reasons? Anyways...
I've always felt like he has a lot of Colors to show the world. His smile at Rhodey in Iron Man 1 although he's literally falling apart, his relationship with the Media, showing everyone he's the best but really he feels terrible. Then we have his new found trauma he got from 'Avengers' after the wormhole. AND LITERALLY NO ONE GIVES A FUCk. Ok Rhodey does. Sometimes. And Pepper but she left him in Civil War wtf is going on don't leave Tony alone because he's a self-destructive victim of his own mind and he needs to be protected??? Then Ultron which he blames himself for (thing is, it's not technically only his fault - Wanda gave him a false vision and triggered his PTSD - i love u wanda bby but ur to blame as well -)
and now in Civil War he is completely broken and FINALLY wants to do what he believes is right and then heeey look it all goes downhill from that and he's alone amazing wow steve left him literally broken on the floor good job a+ friendship (I'm gonna die.)
What I'm trying to say (rather badly) and trying to show with the video is that Tony is a victim not a villain and I will fight everyone in his defense because I love him too much.
I'd love to know what you think about his character development in the movies and if you agree or disagree :)
