I completed the MBTI certification this week and promised a follow-up video. Here are one or two key learnings from the course. Highly recommended if you want to dig more deeply into Type.

Myers Briggs Type theory is a robust, well-integrated theory of human personality - in simple terms, it seems to be TRUE, identifying the strengths & weaknesses we see at work in real life. AND it's not simple, that is, I'm going to need to dig into this in more detail to be able to incorporate this into my leadership development practice.

As I noted in the first video in this series, I've used the DiSC and Everything DiSC tools for years and found them to be very helpful for teams who need to find ways to discuss and navigate human difference. As good as these assessments are, I've returned to the MBTI as a path for exploring and developing myself (and others) further.

My varied background includes a deep dive into activity-based training, where I frequently used activities as the primary leadership or team development strategy. That said, I know that many practitioners struggle to make their training sessions interactive. If you'd like to discuss that, leave a comment and let's discuss. I can send you a number of activities that are really spice up a personality assessment training, whatever tool you choose to use.
