F-16 HYPER VIPER Hasegawa 1:72 " What if ?" BUILD .
I very much like the idea of a lightweight fighter , similar to the Lockheed "KINGSNAKE" or Suchoi "CHECKMATE " this is my version using Hasegawa F-16 as basis .
Stuff from my spares box includes , F-22 tailfins , for the wings ( Yes , you can see how big they are !) and the tails from an F-18 . I made a sort of Divererless intake using the top of a drop tank and cutting away the roof of the normal intake to fit it flush against the underside of the fuselage . centre fuel tank houses a lazer weapon . Camo is 3 colour blue digital using 5mm tape cut into squares. the photos at the end show it next to the HYPER HORNET which is a very similar convertion , using modified wings and V tail . would be nice to build 1:48 , but then I would have to buy 3 expensive kits to cut-up ! I love the Viper , it is one of my favourites , as a design it still looks gorgeous after 50 years .
