Chainsaw Man is one of the most popular manga series in the world and there's a lot that aspiring manga writers can learn from it. That's why I made this quick video to show you where each aspect of the KSTK story structure begins and ends within chapter 1 of CSM.
The Kishōtenketsu story structure is basically to Eastern storytelling what the "Three Act Structure" is to Western stories. It's commonly used to great effect in many of the manga and anime that we all enjoy every day, and that's why understanding it can be a valuable tool for anyone who dreams of writing their own stories.
