How to use POINT COLOR (Lightroom Classic Tutorial)
In this video, I will teach you everything you need to know about Lightroom's all-new Point Color feature. You will learn how to use it, how it works together with the old HSL tool and what the limitations of Point Color are. Point Color is a new tool for editing the colors of your image in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC or Photoshop's Camera RAW.
I will go over the changes done to the whole Color Mixer panel, how to sample colors with Point Color, how to tweak the colors in your image, how to adjust the sample range and how Point Color works together with the old color tools in Lightroom.
Adobe introduced Point Color at Adobe MAX for the October 2023 release of Lightroom, Loghtroom Classic and Photoshop Camera RAW. It’s a completely new way to tweak the colors of your images. It works alongside the old color mixer or the HSL panel, but Point Color always comes after HSL in the order of applied edits.
