I'll walk you through the process and share some tips for optimal results. It is now easier than ever to blur out the backgrounds of your images in Lightroom with the new Lens Blur effect.
In this video I will show you how to add the Lens Blur effect, how to tweak the blur amount, how to tweak the look of the bokeh and how to tweak the focus range. I'll also show you how you can create a cool miniature effect with the tool.
Adobe introduced this game-changing feature in the October 2023 release of Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC. Although it's relatively straightforward to use, it's essential to understand its limitations, as it may not work perfectly for every photo due to its early access (beta) status.
