Understand once and for all the difference between Ventilatory Threshold, Aerobic Threshold, and Lactate Threshold. We are dealing here with 3 physiological variables linked to the respiratory and metabolic demands of the body during physical exercise. In a simple and didactic way, Professor Valdir Braga explains the emergence of each of these thresholds during the transition between rest, light training, moderate training, and intense training. Some concepts can be generalized, and others have specific names according to the amount at which a given threshold is detected. Many training programs are developed based on the understanding of these thresholds. Therefore, never again confuse ventilatory threshold 1, ventilatory threshold 2, anaerobic threshold, and lactate threshold.
