Baby Pot-Belly Pig Rescue
Although bats are our primary focus, we rescue all sorts of animals. In January, while prepping the fruit bat's food, we spotted a little piggy out the kitchen window. He was running down the road being chased by the kiddos who owned him. We ran out to help (finally cornering him) and then found that they were trying to rehome him. He lived in a dog crate and of course needed more room. He settled in with staff-member Natalie for a few days before going to a local pot-bellied pig sanctuary we work with. He now has loads of friends, just like him. :)
Our staff also rescues chickens, dogs, cats, mice, goats, sheep and we provide feeding stations for then wildlife on Bat World's land. 🙂
