Learning about quarters (1st grade math lesson)
I explain how a quarter is worth 25 cents. We figure out how much two or three or four quarters are, in cents, and learn why these coins are called "quarters". Then we go on to various coin-counting exercises that include quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies -- and even Mathy gets to do some of those!
