Ferrite Arrow-Head, Stealth Technology!
Discussion of unusual materials in flintknapping, most notably ferrite. The worlds first radar invisible arrow-head (made by knapping buddy Tom), the ferrite is made from a nickel, zinc mix iron oxide ceramic. Very dense material about twice as dense as flint. I made a small knife to see if ferrite was workable from a broken plate. Gave that to the source of the broken ferrite. My friend Tom made the arrow-head in trade for remaining pieces.
