General comments on Danish flint and attempting to knap larger pieces. Danish flint is not the same as Texas flint. The overall grain size is smaller and its effective heat treatment is lower. For me hammerstones work well with thicker slabs, on the order of an inch. Solid copper boppers hold up much better against flint or other cryptocrystalline rock.
