Upgrading to SageTV V9 With Schedules Direct Part 2 (4K)
Did you know the program guide service in SageTV is shutting down July 1st 2017? Are you using SageTV V7? In this episode we take a look at how to convert your SageTV V7 to the open source SageTV V9 and move your EPG lineup to Schedules Direct.
This is part 2 in the 2 part series where I move move entire SageTV version 7 to version 9, so make sure you watch the first part if you are using SageDCT.
1) Get your SageTV V7 server Installation Files Ready (or download LAVFilters below)
2) Open up a Schedules Direct Account. (see below)
3) Stop the SageTV and OpenDCT services, and back up your existing SageTV folder.
4) Rename your existing SageTV folder to SageTV_V7 or whatever you want.
5) Uninstall your existing SageTV Program
6) Reinstall SageTV V7 (or LAVFilter)
7) Install SageTV V9
8) Stop the SageTV and OpenDCT services, and set to automatic startup.
9) Drop your sage.properties and Wix.bin files in the new SageTV folder.
10) Restart the SageTV and OpenDCT services
11) Open SageTV V9 Program
12) Remove all plug-ins and their dependencies (everything) if you have any problems with your plug-in (Check to make sure you still have access to the SageTV web interface.)
13) Setup and Schedules Direct and your lineups for each of the video sources you have.

NOTE: The fix for the OpenDCT Sleep problem:
1) Update to the latest OpenDCT
2) Change: 'pm.network.resume_timeout_ms=' to '0'
