One of the many perks why I love being Deaf is meeting other Deaf people in different countries and immediately feeling like family just because….we re Deaf. I love it. Also, another thing we must remember is that USA is not the only country filled with talented Deaf people of all kinds. There are many amazing Deaf people with unbelievable talents in other countries. We should continue to be reminded of how we can learn more about the stories of Deaf people across the world. Meet Ipek and see what she does! 😍 🤟

Hello! Welcome to Teater Manu! I work here in the office, but not just this I am also a professional actress!
Video zooms in fast of the whole office then the lobby where paintings are seen by a Deaf artist Alexei Sveltlov. Then the video scans around the black box theater room. The next scene is Ipek standing in front of a theater poster.
I have worked here for a long time and I am the oldest actress. It has been about 23 – 24 years. This is me here and the opening will be in November. Now, here let me show you my resume! I have been involved with the following:

Teater Manu is not the only one place I work at, but I also work with Tegnspråk Slam (Sign Language Slam). I work with the lovely Eva. (Eva walks in, she is wearing black outfits then both of them sign together) SIGN LANGUAGE SLAM!
The video trails around the theater showing various Deaf people signing together then a text comes on screen “DEAF POWER.” Then Ipek and Eva are seen on stage with their costumes signing. The last scene is Ipek with CJ Jones and CJ says he has known Ipek since she was a child. END.
